To ensure the success of your onboarding, please follow the below-required project prerequisites to reduce the engagement timeline and minimize project delay.

Key Resources for Project Success

Designate NetBrain Administrator, End Users, and Power Users.
Identify the following server infrastructure engineers:
• Linux Administrator
• Windows Administrator
Identify engineers that have device access credentials:
• Network Administrator(s)
• Firewall Administrator(s)
• Cloud Infrastructure Team

Virtual Machine Deployment

Prepare to deploy Linux and Windows Virtual Machines. The number of virtual machines
will be decided after the architectural design session with your Jumpstart Engineer.

Network Security

Allocate IP for NetBrain Front Server and confirm connectivity to all network devices. If Jumpbox is required to access your network, prepare Jumpbox credentials for NetBrain to use.

Creating Your NetBrain “Digital Twin”

Prepare or collect network device credentials, API credentials, and SNMP strings. Identify device types in your network that should not be discovered by NetBrain (laptops, printers phones, etc.).   Collect a complete IP list of network devices in your network (Recommended).

Training and Enablement

Identify all team members expected to use NetBrain for onboarding to NetBrain University training platform, NetBrain Customer Portal, and NetBrain Exchange Community.
