Introduction to NetBrain
In this End User course, students will learn the very basics of what NetBrain is and how to utilize the NetBrain Workstation on a day-to-day basis. Topics covered include Dynamic Maps, Runbooks, consuming Data Views, Dashboards and Insights, and collaboration via Incidents
NetBrain for Troubleshooting
This End-User course provides skills to visualize and analyze network models using advanced search, mapping, and automation insights, including the use of Golden Config and Golden Intent. It also covers documenting troubleshooting processes with runbooks, collaborating across maps and portals, and applying these techniques to real-world use cases for efficient network troubleshooting.
Power User Training
In this Power User course, students will learn how to create Level I Runbook Templates, creating procedures involving the gathering of information from the Live Network. These Level I Runbook Templates allow users who are able to understand and interpret the raw data gathered by the Runbook steps to perform a procedure much more quickly and easily than with manual methodologies.
Level II Runbook
In this Power-User Course, students will build on what they learned in NB201 to create Level II Runbook Templates -- procedures that incorporate diagnosis as well as data gathering through the use of NetBrain No-Code Automation. This allows users with little or no knowledge of the technical aspects of a workflow to perform a procedure by utilizing the No-Code Automation in the Runbook Template, thereby shifting workload to the left.
Network Assessments
In this class, we will build on what we learned in NB201 and NB202 to perform full-scale Network Assessment with NetBrain. The primary focus is on replicating Network Intents into Golden Assessment parameters for the entire network. We also cover how to view, download, and deploy the libraries of pre-built automation that NetBrain makes freely available to all customers.
Parsers and Intents
In this optional class, we dive deeper on the construction of Parser Files and Network Intents, the most prominent components of NetBrain Automation. We cover Parsing and its common methodologies in detail, then learn how to utilize them in the full Intent building interface. We conclude with how to structure diagnoses and logic in Intents.
Administrators Course
In this course, students will learn the key elements of how to manage and maintain the NetBrain Automation Platform after it has been successfully deployed. This includes learning about the NetBrain-approved best practices for system administration, device discovery, tuning, building sites, scheduling recurrent tasks, and recommended system maintenance tasks.
